The LifeWise StL Build-a-Thon is a month-long campaign to help us build a brighter future for youth in St. Louis! The campaign goal is to raise $250,000 to fund the purchase of new passenger vans for transporting youth to and from its after-school programs as well as the construction of a garage on the LifeWise StL property to house and protect the vans.

LifeWise Academy, Academy Prep, and Young Scholars after-school programs support numerous K-12 students with a nurturing environment in which they receive academic help, learn healthy habits, and gain access to experiences they would not otherwise be afforded. Many of these students depend on the programs’ safe, reliable transportation to and from LifeWise StL daily.

“LifeWise StL is a crucial resource for countless inner city students. Our small fleet of passenger vans is vital for the success of our daily operations, and at 20 years old, is in dire need of replacement,” shared Scott Walker, CEO of LifeWise StL. “The success of this Build-a-Thon campaign will ensure numerous local students benefit from programs and reliable transportation that many of us take for granted. Our vans are also used to transport seniors to and from our monthly in-service meetings.”
