After School Scholars Program
Every Monday through Friday during the school year September-May, elementary and middle school students come to LifeWise StL during after school hours for academic support, enrichment activities, and a healthy dinner. A key focus of the Young Scholars program is to enhance student literacy.
Summer Literacy Camp
Our Summer Literacy Camp offers crucial summer reading enrichment to elementary and middle school students who might otherwise lack access to books, countering summer learning loss and narrowing achievement gaps. The camp runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday, spanning six consecutive weeks in June and July.
Annual Back-to-School Bash
At this annual event, LifeWise StL distributes essential school supplies to kids ages Kindergarten through 12th grade — new shoes, backpacks, and an assortment of school materials. More than 400 children annually are able to begin their academic year feeling prepared, confident, and excited about learning.
