Tornado Relief for Affected Seniors
Have you been impacted by the May 16 tornado?
In partnership with the City of St. Louis and the United Way, LifeWise StL serves older adults (60+) through Disaster Case Management Services. Survivors may sign up for this program to be connected with resources, services, and support, with the goal of recovering from the disaster. Request case management services using this online form.
Requirements:
- You live in the City (check your address to make sure it’s within City limits) AND you are a survivor of the May 16th Tornado with remaining unmet disaster-related needs (such as housing, employment, health, or financial issues not fully covered by insurance or FEMA aid).
If you meet requirements, a trained disaster case manager can provide one-on-one assistance to:
- Assess unmet disaster-related needs.
- Develop a recovery plan.
- Find and apply for resources (FEMA aid, housing, repairs, legal help, mental health care, etc.).
- Coordinate with nonprofits, local agencies, and government programs.
- Navigate available aid programs and rebuilding steps.
