Become a Freedom School Mealtime Helper!
Mealtime Helper volunteers interact directly with scholars and site staff during mealtimes, which are an important time of socializing and nourishment for staff and scholars. This is an opportunity to support staff and interact in an informal way with scholars.
We ask that all volunteers commit to a minimum of 1 shift per week. This provides consistency for scholars and staff alike, as well as enables volunteers to have a greater impact on our Freedom School program and interactions with scholars!
Mealtime Helpers are needed throughout the week for breakfast and lunch June 17 through July 26 .

What is Freedom School?
LifeWise StL seeks to build strong, literate and empowered youth prepared to make a difference in themselves, their families, communities, nation and world. As such, our organization became a Freedom Schools Program Partner in 2016. By providing this program, LifeWise StL plays a much needed role in helping to curb summer learning loss and close achievement gaps.
