Youth Mental Health
At-risk youth face unprecedented challenges in their lives: school stress, violence and trauma, bullying, and anxiety and depression. We believe early mental health intervention leads to better life outcomes. LifeWise offers individual and group therapy to youth who participate in our Early Childhood Center, Young Scholars Program, and Academy Program. We also offer individual therapy to the community for ages 4 and up. The Youth Mental Health program provides a safe environment for emotional, behavioral, and psychological support.
Through individual counseling and group therapy, children and teens develop age-appropriate skills for coping, regulating and expressing emotions, managing thoughts and behaviors, and building interpersonal relationships. Weekly self-awareness enrichment classes are tailored to each age group and integrate principles of social-emotional learning. Parents and guardians can participate in the therapeutic process and access resources through informational webinars.
