English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes provide the opportunity for participants to work with trained teachers to grow their English language skills. Classes teach essentials of the language and help individuals improve in areas such as writing, speaking and reading comprehension. Participants are able to utilize these language skills at work, home and in the community. Participants also learn about St. Louis and American culture while in a supportive environment. ESOL classes are provided in partnership with St. Louis Public Schools.
ESOL Class Schedule and Enrollment Information
- ESOL classes are offered in person, Monday through Thursday, from 9am to 12 pm.
- Classes are not held on days when St. Louis Public Schools are closed.
- Classes are available for mixed levels.
- Free childcare is provided.
- Participants must reside in St. Louis City.
- Participants must complete orientation, which includes testing and filling out the necessary forms for enrollment. Orientation sessions are held monthly.
