LifeWise STL seeks to build strong, literate and empowered youth prepared to make a difference in themselves, their families, communities, nation and world. As such, our organization became a Freedom Schools Program Partner in 2016. By providing this program, LifeWise STL plays a much needed role in helping to curb summer learning loss and close achievement gaps.

Due to health and safety concerns around COVID-19, we will be providing a virtual summer program to our scholars in 2020. Our plan is to provide the same consistency, effort and meaningful impact to the best of our abilities for all of our scholars. The decision to move to virtual summer programming means that related volunteer opportunities will also be virtual. Volunteers will choose a book/poem that is meaningful to them and age-appropriate, record themselves reading the story and send it to us at LifeWise STL to be included each morning as part of our summer program. We hope you’ll sign up today!
